The 2008 Major League Baseball season starts with Spring Training
in Arizona and Florida. The spring training schedule begins in
early March and games are played almost every day until the week
before opening day in April. Games are family oriented with a great
relaxed and fun atmosphere. Spring Training is a great time to
catch a game as most games come with low admission prices and lots
of other fun family activities.

Cactus League
The Rockies and the White Socks kick off the 2008 Cactus League Spring Training

Grapefruit League
The Grapefruit league is made up of 18 teams that hold spring training in Florida.
Opening day for the Grapefruit League is Tuesday, March 1 with 8 games being
played throughout the state of Florida. You can catch a game from Lakeland
